The Radost Solutions FAQ

Who is Radost Solutions in January 2023?

Right now - Radost Solutions is primarily me - Reuben Broadfoot. I have several people who have expressed interest in working with me - some are independent consultants that I could pull in as needed - some are talented folks who would love to join a team. I am exceptionally comfortable that I could build any size team required on a project-by-project basis.

Why start Radost?

Radost has been a dream of mine for a long time. The opportunity to build a company working with the right clients with the right team based on the right ethics and organization. Super Exciting!

I'm very lucky to have inspiration from The Gunter Group and Galois as I develop the business structure.

You are in Taiwan? How will you work with the US time zone? Are there any other challenges?

I am in Taiwan and the time zone difference isn't ideal - but it's also easy to manage. I've rented a private office and will be working US hours when working for US-based clients. I'm planning frequent trips to the US on a regular and as-needed basis. For engagements that require an onsite presence, I'll bring on talent to address the need. No other challenges.

What are you focused on right now?

Right now, I'm focused on building the brand, getting clients, and putting myself out there. I'm learning a lot about marketing and selling - I've never been great about pitching myself and my skills - so some of this is a new experience. I'm making a trip to the US in early February.

Let me know if you would like to get together to chat! :)

Why should I hire you?

I'm really good at what I do. Experienced, persistent, thoughtful, hard-working, and innovative. I will bring a unique and energetic perspective to your team. I enjoy a challenge and I am good at navigating the people dimension of business initiatives.

What should I hire you for?

You should hire me for solving problems and delivering critical business initiatives. If you aren't sure if it'd be a good fit it never hurts to have a quick chat.

What is that duck all about?

You may (or may not) have heard about my pet duck Puddle Duck. I helped him out of his shell when I was in first or second grade - and became his defacto parent for the next five or six years. He was a truly magnificent duck - he won 'Grand Champion Waterfowl' at the Oregon State Fair sometime around 1980. Puddle Duck is represented here - along with my favorite color Orange. All together with the word Radost and it feels very apropos.

Plus - an orange duck is very confusing for my Ducks & Beavers peeps. ;)

Please leave a comment with any other questions you might have and I'll add them to the list!
